An animation including yogasutra 2.3 where Patanjali introduces us to the 5 kleshas, 5 colorings. An animation using the simplicity of squares to try to explain about how the 5 coloring make us forget the non-dual Reality.
Another attempt to describe the indescribable…
Another attempt to communicate which cannot be communicated
through words, forms (and animation)
The non-dual reality lies beyond all appearing dual expressions…
Yet if we don’t try, how do we find this non-dual Reality?
So here another…
There is only one… There is no second, no third, no fourth or many Yet there is an apparent multiplicity around us. How can there be only one when multiplicity is perceived?
Because we are entangled in the non-existing dance of manifestation, therefore we are unaware of the True Nature of existence.
All there is, is a non-dual reality. Experiencing and knowing this Truth is the only Vidya, the only True Knowledge there is.
The root cause of all appearing multiplicity is avidya. Vidya is True Knowledge, A is without. So avidya means without knowledge or ignorance. It occurs when the one appears to veil its non-dual reality. Where the one seems to color itself with illusion, by forgetting its own true nature. Avidya is the first klesha, or coloring of the non-dual reality.
Due to the notion of avidya, instantaneously asmita, klesha number 2, the finest individuation, seems to be added. A second now has been colored with I-ness, and appears as self-existent.
This appearing second has the instrument to discriminate, to know, to judge, to decide, which is called buddhi. By using it, it carves up the non-dual reality in forms, words and concepts, and therefore the apparent multiplicity is perceived.
This appearing second has the instrument to discriminate, to know, to judge, to decide, which is called buddhi. By using it, it carves up the non-dual reality in forms, words and concepts, and therefore the apparent multiplicity is perceived.
All are colorings of attachment, every coloring has something to do with ‘me’ and is stored within the chitta, within the mind-field.
For another ‘me’ the coloring will be different and therefore the manifestation me will be seen and experienced differently.
All the four kleshas, avidya, asmita, raga and dvesha seem to protect themselves by adding the appearance of fear. None of them want disappear. None of them will volunteer to step aside, so True Nature can be experienced. Therefore the mind-field is colored with fear, with abhinivesha. abhinivesha is the fifth and last coloring.
It started with avidya, and the unavoidable result is abhinivesha –> fear.
To be in this appearing dualistic manifestation without abhinivesha, without fear, completely free and living in absolute joy, you will have to reduce the coloring stored in the chitta. You will have to un-color the kleshas to unveil the illusion that there is a separate being other then the one non-dual Reality.
Gradually you can remove avidya, by sharpening buddhi and apply it to discriminate between Vidya and avidya. You will increasingly come to know the appearing manifestation without avidya, without the veiling of the non-dual reality. Until you master to temporary set aside all kleshas and the one can rest in its True Nature.
How to do this un-coloring?
The non-dual Reality doesn’t
have to do anything, it just is,
because without a second there is nothing to do…
The illusion only appears for the second.
Therefore realize that the only thing yours is your coloring.
Take responsibility for the coloring
stored in your mind-field
Practice self-awareness,
expand your understanding of how the mind-field
and it appearing movements seem to function…
witness it…
and reduce it by the practice of meditation….

Yoga Meditation, Contemplation, and Devotion for Self-realization
This site is an offering to those who deeply long to experience Pure Consciousness that is known as Divine Mother or Tripura (‘Tri’ means three, and ‘pura’ means city); She is the one that lives in the three cities of Waking, Dreaming and Deep Sleep. Temporary leaving behind the three cities and residing only in Pure Consciousness is called Self-realization. Another name for this realization is Yoga; the union of the individual self with the universal Self; the union of Atman with Brahman, or Shiva with Shakti; or the dis-union of Purusha and Prakriti. Some might think of Tripura as an anthropomorphic being but She is not, She is the Non-dual Reality in which all appearing manifestation seems to exist. All that is, is the Non-dual Reality.
On this site the teachings of Yoga, Vedanta, and Samaya Sri Vidya Tantra are offered to guide you in learning to meditate directly on Tripura by using modern ways of communication such as through animations, while preserving the ancient wisdom. These teaching have been given to us by an ancient lineage of meditation masters, lovingly called the Tradition of the Himalayan masters. These practices lead us to a space of stillness and silence where Yoga meditation, contemplation, mantra and prayer converge into deep devotion and constant awareness of Tripura. At the end of the journey when all efforts are exhausted, grace will dawn. This is known as shaktipata, through which the final barrier is removed, which is the piercing of the bindu, and leads to the direct experience of Non-dual Reality. This finally reveals an unimaginable Joy from knowing the Non-dual Reality or Pure Consciousness!
